This is a very good and exciting project you've got here ! Those brooks , creeks streams rivers and all that once fed the fields deserve to be remembered and rediscovered and you do that marvellously well ! Long Life to Watercourses !

I love stuff like this. I don't know if you've ever had a look at www.lostrivers.ca before, but I've always found it to be an inspirational site. I've attempted to map out the former streams and brooks here in Montreal, and have enjoyed the challenge of figuring out where things used to flow and how the current sewer system reflects that. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a definitive map along the lines of the Viele. I remember reading about that one and how NYC planners still used it as a reference. I imagine there's a hell of a lot more recorded history in your city archives to draw from than we have here.

Anyways.. I look forward to seeing more!
